Where is the Flourish Festival 2027 held?
At Hotel Blackfoot, 5940 Blackfoot Trail SE, Calgary, Alberta T2H 2B5, from October 13 to 17, 2027. Workshops, lunches and most evening events are in the hotel. The Big Fat Greek Gala is at a separate venue, to be announced. Get directions.
Is there a hotel discount for Flourish attendees?
Yes. We hold a block of rooms at Hotel Blackfoot at a special Flourish group rate. Book through our link to get it: book the Flourish rate. When the block is full, the festival rate is gone.
Do I have to stay at Hotel Blackfoot?
No, but it's the easiest way to do Flourish. Your room is an elevator ride from your workshop, so you get more time at the table and more of the evening conversations.
Is my hotel room included in my festival pass?
No. The Full Festival Pass covers two two-day workshops and lunch every day, and you book your room separately. The exception is Calligraphy Nirvana, which includes your room.
Which airport should I fly into?
Calgary International Airport (YYC), which has direct flights from most major North American cities. From there it's a taxi or rideshare to Hotel Blackfoot.
When can I check in?
Festival check-in opens at 2 pm on Wednesday, October 13, 2027, and workshops run Thursday to Sunday, October 14–17. See the full schedule.
